Adventures unite to explore the beauty of Morocco. Located in North Africa, the country offers the tourist a taste of culture, relaxation and history. Everyone should visit the stunning country at least once. See below for 8 reasons to tour Morocco in your lifetime.

8 Reasons To Tour Morocco in Your Lifetime

Beaches

Located on the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, the country is home to many beautiful beaches. Choose Morocco Tours which lets you soak up the sun or ride the waves on a number of beaches including El Jebha and El Jadida.

Sahara Desert

The Sahara Desert is a vast ocean of sand with minimal water, but you can experience the beauty right from Morocco. Plan an excursion across the sand in a four-wheel drive vehicle, on a camel or riding a horse. Go camping and sleep among the billions of stars.

Architecture

Zellige is a traditional tile work seen throughout the buildings in the country. Visit the Grand Mosque in Tangier or the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca for a look at their beautiful religious architecture. Or gaze upon the plasterwork, carvings and woodwork in many of their buildings, especially their brilliant palaces. For me, this is one of the prime reasons why I want to visit Morocco! I would love to bring home some of those gorgeous tiles!

8 Reasons To Tour Morocco in Your Lifetime

Cuisine

Flavorful dishes are the rule in Morocco. Each dish blends an array of spices to entice the taste buds. Fill up with a variety of bread options to go along with your dish of brochettes, pastilla or harira. I imagine there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options in Morocco as well.

Mountains

Hike, bike or ride up the Atlas Mountains. The highest mountain in the High Atlas Mountains is Jbel Toubkal. Whichever mountain you climb, you can enjoy the beauty of the view, check out the wildlife and visit a Berber village.

Imperial Cities

The capital city of Rabat is an old imperial city full of character and steeped in history. Visit the Hassan Tower, Kasbah of the Oudaias or the old medina. Visit tombs, palaces, and mosques in all the imperial cities of Fes, Marrakesh, and Meknes.

Budget-Friendly

Tour the country on a budget that suits you. Stay in a traditional Moroccan dar or riad for an immersive, less expensive trip. Or find a hotel or private property to rent for your stay.

Shopping

Visit a souk while travelling around the country and immerse yourself in a traditional marketplace. Find just the right souvenir to take home to a loved one or for yourself. The marketplaces have tons of traditional items from lamps to shisha pipes to spices. The souks may be held daily or on particular days of the week depending on the area.

Make the most of your trip to Morocco with a tour to visit all your must-see sites. Enjoy the rich culture and beautiful views from the sea to the desert and everything in between. Morocco is definitely a place that I want to travel to!
