Santa Claus is coming to Olde Town
During the holiday season, St. Nick on the Bricks in downtown Boulder, CO, allows kids to meet Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. Some of these events are free, while others require a fee. Downtown Boulder is home to many holiday events. You can visit Santa in Olde Town, which features shopping, music, and holiday entertainment. A variety of businesses are locally owned and operated. There are over 80 local businesses in Downtown Boulder.
Boulder’s Lights of December Parade is another free holiday event in the city. This event features floats and musical entertainment. The parade starts at Main Street and ends at South Street. The parade includes carolers and a living nativity.
Freezie Fest is a celebration of all things snowman and winter
This event is a fun way to celebrate the holidays in Boulder by featuring Freezie the Snowman, Reindeer Games, kiddie train rides, and carolers. This free event is brought to you by the Downtown Boulder Partnership. Freezie Fest will feature kiddie train rides, free reindeer games, free reindeer hayrides, visits with Freezie the Snowman, St. Nick on the Bricks in downtown Boulder, CO, and carolers, and a Find Freezie Bingo game. Guests can also enter to win a $25 gift card to Downtown Boulder. Freezie Fest will also feature a BMoCA booth with a free hands-on art activity for kids. You can also find stuffed snowmen at participating stores.

A Christmas Carol is a great way to get into the holiday spirit
Having spent a fair amount of time in the Colorado Rocky mountains over the past few years, I know the city has a lot to offer visitors and residents alike. From the oh-so-that, as mentioned earlier, to the plethora of museums and cultural attractions, Boulder County is a gem of a place to be. Amongst a myriad of choices, it takes time to pick a single destination for the perfect fusion of art, culture, and fun. Luckily, there are many fun and exciting places, such as the Boulder County Museum and Boulder City Hall.

The Boulder Holiday Gift Festival features over 100 exhibitors selling holiday gifts. The festival also includes a free concert. The CU Boulder Holiday Festival is held at Macky Auditorium on the CU Boulder campus. World-class faculty performers perform as well as student choirs.
