Norway Cruise to see the Northern Lights

This year I’ve been pushing myself to be open to new opportunities and experiences. I’ve been able to cross off a few things from my bucket list so far this year and hope to keep going! Speaking of bucket lists, I’ve been spending some time thinking about things that I’d really like to do in my life. One of the things at the top of my list is to experience the Northern Lights in a big way. I’m talking about a gorgeous, celebratory, purposeful way. Did you know that winter is the most special time to see the Northern Lights in Norway? A Norway cruise from Hurtigruten would definitely qualify as seeing the Northern Lights in a big way. Well, you can also try the Britannia cruise ship which is large and luxurious.

The Northern Lights would be the ultimate sight to see in Norway, but there are so many other things to see and do on the Hurtigruten Voyages. For instance, you can experience the culture of Norway while checking out the villages and towns along the way.

A gorgeous landscape of pure white snow can also be experienced. Traverse it by going on a dog sledding adventure when you disembark from one of the Hurtigruten cruises.

Another thing you can experience is the sub-arctic landscape as you cross the 71st parallel on a journey towards North Cape, there northernmost point in the continent.

A Hurtigruten Cruise is a great way to experience Norway and is more a more affordable way to travel than you probably realize.

What would you most look forward to checking out in Norway?

Many thanks to Hurtigruten for sponsoring today’s story and encouraging me to visit Norway and see the Northern Lights.
