This Honeywell heater is compact enough to store in warmer months, and to keep on hand when it does get chilly. The tower design works well to spread the heat around, on all sides. This unit heats up really quickly, and has a fan and two other intensity settings, plus a dial for increasing/decreasing heat. I like that this has a fan setting so that you can use it in all seasons.
I was really impressed with this heater when it arrived. I am used to having really large, wide, plug-in heaters. Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, it was necessary to have extra heaters to heat up whatever room you are in. Turning up the whole-home heating costs a lot of money, so these types of heaters work really well to heat specific rooms at a time. Here in Vancouver, I never turn on our whole-apartment heating, but do find myself chilly at times. I’ve used this heater several times all ready, and it is still early November!

House to Home?
Wouldn’t this be nice to have in your bedroom, after you’ve had a luxurious bath – stepping in to a warm room afterward would be a real treat. We didn’t have central heating in New Zealand and had to make do with a cheap, oil-filled radiator that used a lot of power. I felt cold all the time. This little energy-efficient unit heats up the entire room, and certainly would have made me feel a lot better about where we had to live.
