Spring Décor Trend – Bright Colors

It’s no secret that home décor trends tend to follow fashion trends. This spring, one of the hot fashion trends is all about bright, bold colours!

Colours to add to your décor:

  • orange
  • turquoise
  • canary yellow
  • shades of peach
  • pink
  • lime
  • bright blue

Since this trend is all about colour – I for one – am ready to make some changes to my fashion wardrobe. Honestly, I think it would be very difficult to add MORE colour to my home décor! We are all about colour in our apartment, from the bright yellow and orange walls, bright red accessories and kitchen items, and checkered blue and white floors (not our choice, of course). The room below is painted in a nice shade of orange. This isn’t exactly how our apartment looks, though.

If you’re interested in adding some colour to your home, you can go all out and change the wall colour, or add splashes of colour in the smaller, accent pieces:

  3. Paint Palette Pillow from CB2
  4. From the Decorista blog
  5. Canary Candleholders from CB2

Want to give  yourself more energy at your work-desk? How about adding these fun bright items to your desk-top?

Do you think you’ll embrace this colour trend in your home or fashion items? What are some ways you can or will add these colours?

    Loooove the colors!

I am always so mesmerized when I see such a vibrant kaleidoscope clash of brights together…they just energize you!!…..I must say I myself shy away from the brights, and instead gravitate towards the darks/greys…but I always try to add color punch in the accents/details…
    Thanks for the inspiration.!!

Love color! My dining room is orange. People either love it or hate it; there's never an in between.
