Going back to school or back to your office routine doesn’t have to mean the end of fun adventures! Enjoy some back-to-routine adventures this fall!

School is in session, and it’s time to get back into the groove of things. For some students, this might mean getting back into that daily routine of waking up early, going to school all day, and then coming home to finish homework. But for others, it means a change in schedule or a new environment.

Back to school can be a very exciting time for children and parents. It is the beginning of a new chapter in their lives and the start of new adventures. As a parent, you want to make sure that your children have an enjoyable time during this transition.

Whether you’re a student or not, there are some fun adventures and family time activities that you can enjoy this fall. Here are some ways to have an adventure with your friends and family this season!

The following are some of the ways to have fun during the fall season:

  • Visit a pumpkin patch
  • Go on an autumn hike
  • Start an indoor adventure with your kids, like painting or making crafts
  • Have a family movie night

Board games are also a great way to spend quality family time with kids on weekends or during holidays. They are also an easy way for parents and children to bond, as there is no TV or phone involved.

I was sent board games and a toy from Asmodee and Playmobil in order to write this post.

Playing board games will help you improve your social skills, strategic thinking, logical reasoning and reading comprehension.

They also help you develop friendships by giving you a chance to interact with people in different ways. You can share your thoughts, laugh at the same jokes, or solve problems together.

You can also learn new things while playing board games such as the history or geography of places around the world! For kids and adults, the game series Ticket to Ride helps to start the conversation about how the world used to be when train travel was all the rage.

The best way to get back into the school routine is by having fun. You can spend time with your kids, friends, and family and continue having back-to-routine adventures even though you still have a regular routine like school or work.

Here are some board games that will help you have a great time while getting back into the swing of things:

  • Ticket to Ride: First Journey
  • Ticket to Ride
  • Unlock! Kids
  • Unlock!

Find out more about these and other board games from Asmodee.

Unlock! Is a fun game for ages 10+ that feels a lot like you’re playing in an escape room – from the comfort of your home.

There’s also a version for children or the whole family:

Adventures for Children not Going Back-to-School

Playmobil School Bus for Kids

The fun of waiting for the school bus, getting on and seeing your friends, and then going on a drive to your school can be a lot of fun for children. But, what about those who either aren’t yet school-age or who are homeschooled? The City Life School Bus from Playmobil allows children as young as four to participate in back-to-school adventures! The top of the school bus lifts off so children can move the pieces around very easily.

How fun that the doors swing open and that the stop sign comes out on the side of the bus!

Conclusion

The back-to-school season is a great time to spend some quality family time. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy some adventures and fun with your kids.

Whether you are looking for outdoor activities or indoor ones, there are plenty of options available for you and your family. You can go on a hike, have a picnic in the park, visit a museum or explore an old fort. Or you can play board games at home, make pumpkin pies, bake cookies or have an adventure in the backyard.
