It’s been a long time since I’ve had a milkshake this good. The vegan milkshakes I find at restaurants are often really complex, with tons of different ingredients and a non-smooth texture. This recipe is super-simple—only 5 ingredients!
This milkshake is smooth, you can taste all 4 main ingredients, and it’s also nice and frothy. I like that both strawberries and bananas freeze well, so I can enjoy this refreshing milkshake year-round.
Vegan Strawberry Banana Milkshake:
-1 cup vanilla soy or coconut milk yogurt
-1 cup soy milk
-1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries
-1 medium banana
-2 to 4 ice cubes
Those really are all the ingredients!
Instructions: Put all ingredients in to a blender, and. . .blend! I use the crush ice feature for 10 seconds or so, then the liquify button.
Makes: 3 servings
This milkshake is nice and filling, so it’s a perfect way to start the day.
